Bow
A classic flying backbend shape used in beginner flows and pose transitions.
Bow
Why it matters
Flexibility and flow come together in this classic.
Bow is not just a pretty shape.
It teaches extension, trust, and the difference between opening and collapsing.
What it is
Bow is a classic AcroYoga flying backbend shape.
Half Bow is the softer variation: one-foot hold, one-side expression, same family. Use it before forcing full Bow.

- From one-foot / Half Bow variation

Half Bow note
Half Bow belongs here as a variation, not a full separate doctrine yet.
Small shape first.
Full shape when the line breathes.
What breaks
- flyer pulls for shape instead of breathing into it
- base chases depth
- unclear hand connection
- exit forgotten because the pose looks nice
Field notes
Pretty backbends are cheap.
Clean exits are expensive.
